Grand Isle - Jefferson, LA Fishing Report on 5th Apr, 2023

Sharing one of my trips last March that was one for the books for sure! I was thrilled to finally get out on the water after a few days of battling gusty winds reaching up to 25-30mph. Despite the challenging conditions, my team and I were determined to make the most of it. We started off with dirty water as expected, but I knew we had to keep moving until we found cleaner water. After a few strategic moves and some persistence, we hit the jackpot! The cleaner water paid off, and we were rewarded with some incredible fishing action. One thing I want to share is that the redfish is thriving, despite what some may say. As a local fishing guide, I've been seeing more fish this year than we have in a long time, and it's a testament to the conservation efforts in place. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise! If you're looking for an unforgettable fishing experience in Grand Isle, now is the time to book with Nock Em Dead Bowfishing Charters. Give me a call or text at 985-233-1256 to get in on the action. Don't miss out on the best time of the year to go smoke some fish! - Captain Blake Morris.
